Germany's machine tool manufacturers will be turning out in force for the Mexican machine tools exhibition EXPOMAQ, which takes place from 12-15 April 2016 in Leon, Mexico. The biggest ever cross-section of the German machine tool industry will occupy more than half of the display area at the special EXPOMAQ presentation “German High Tech in Metal Working”. Supported by the German Association of Machine Tool Builders (VDW), this special presentation is being organized by the German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in cooperation with the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA).
Jochen Nahl, the newly elected president of the exhibitors’ organization and sales director of GROB-Werke GmbH, says: “EXPOMAQ, featuring Germany as the Partner Country, is a great opportunity for German companies to reach new groups of customers in the expanding market of Mexico.” A special display covering the manufacture of gearing/transmission is expected to be a particular focus of visitor attention.
The executive manager of the VDW, Wilfried Schafer, emphasizes: “Mexico offers German suppliers some excellent prospects. There has been consistent industrial growth, especially in the automobile and aviation industries, and this trend continues. Investment by major international companies, for example in the automobile sector, is generating more demand for high-performance machines. Any company intending to set up or expand business activities on this marketplace should not miss the opportunity to exhibit at EXPOMAQ.”
Companies interested in taking part in EXPOMAQ and its various special displays and presentations can register until 1 October with Deutsche Messe AG in Hannover, Germany. Deutsche Messe is responsible for the organization of the German participation at the event in April next year.
